Youth Today spoke to six young people July 2 at the 2015 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous in Atlanta about alcoholism and sobriety.

  1. Neuroscientist Marc Lewis’s new book, The Biology of Desire makes a compelling case that addictions are basically a delayed developmental disorder. He makes that case because a huge number of addicts simply give up their addictions simply by growing older and having their brain networks apparently maturate.
